For Whatever It Takes
For whatever it takes
I will split my head in two
The one will be kind and courteous
The other will be as dead
One will make me a fortune
The other a place to play
    I'll feed them on insecurities
  And never let them stray
I'll teach them of stars
And the crooked ways of time
    One will answer angrily
The other will bow his head
With despair and toil
    Emerging from the ground
    I'll take my gleeful twins
And hide them from the crown.
